From large-scale developments and build-to-suit projects to tenant improvements and small-scale renovations, John has consistently delivered high-quality results across a broad range of business sectors.

Tariq Mahmood is a seasoned construction Director with a distinguished track record of delivering complex residential and commercial projects across New York City. With expertise spanning over two decades, he has successfully led operations for large-scale commercial developments, tenant fit-outs, and major infrastructure projects with contract values reaching $200 million.
Tariq is recognized for his strategic leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams—including consultants, contractors, and vendors—while maintaining rigorous control over budgets, schedules, and quality. He is highly skilled in value engineering, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising design intent or performance.
His end-to-end project experience encompasses all phases, from pre-construction planning and buyout through to project close-out and securing the certificate of occupancy. With core competencies in general construction, pre-construction planning, BIM integration, risk management, and real estate development, Tariq ensures optimal execution and return on investment for stakeholders.
Tariq holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the New York Institute of Technology and is committed to delivering excellence on every project through innovative thinking, disciplined management, and unwavering client focus.
Michael Branca

Ed Hampton
Project Manager
Ed Hampton is a construction and project management professional with more than six years of experience supporting complex renovation, tenant improvement, mechanical retrofit, and ground-up construction projects. As a member of the JD-22 Consulting Group team, Ed brings a detail-oriented and proactive approach to project coordination, cost management, scheduling, procurement, and construction oversight.
At JD-22 Consulting Group, Ed provides valuable expertise in value engineering, working closely with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, evaluate alternative materials and construction methods, and develop practical solutions that maintain the project's design intent, quality, and overall objectives. His strong understanding of construction costs and project execution allows him to proactively identify opportunities that deliver measurable value to JD-22's clients.
Ed has a proven ability to effectively manage project schedules and budgets, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions to keep projects moving forward. His hands-on approach, attention to critical project milestones, and focus on cost control help drive projects to successful completion on time and under budget, while maintaining the quality and expectations of the client.
Throughout his career, Ed has worked closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to successfully coordinate projects from planning and design through construction and completion. His project experience includes higher education, hospitality, residential, and commercial projects ranging from $7 million to $15 million in value. Ed holds an Associate in Applied Science in Construction Management from the Community College of Philadelphia and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Finance from Drexel University.
